The coating material stick on the steel wire is a kind of high property modified HDPE adhesive material,the adhesive could easily heat fused with HDPE;Furrther more, the polar bond of this material has an excellent adhesive property with steel (200N/25mm,ASTMD903). This sort of material, which has been widely used as boundary material between steel and HDPE in the Transport the natural gas in China, is the new product of a famous international company;

For the other composite PE pipes, the most serious bug is that there is no joint medium interface between steel and PE. So that the steel wire or strip is only mechanically connected with the plastic, the crack will appears at the boundary of the two different materials under the circumstance temperature stress and inner pressure stress; And if the cutting section of pipe is not sealed well, the water will go inside the composite layers then break the pipe from inner layer under the even low pressure. Our new technology has provided a safe bonding interface between steel and PE, which gives a good solution.

All of these make this kind of steel reinforced method much more developed. Steel composite PE pipe produced with this new generation method will be more widely and convenient applied in the project, and to make the connection of pipe more reliable, easier to add the branch on the pipeline, seal process on the pipe becomes more simple and reliable.

Meanwhile, cause amount of metal used in per meter of this kind of composite pipe is much less than normal steel wire or band reinforced composite pipe, outer PE layer is thicker enough to remain the good electro-fusion welding property as normal polyethylene pipe.
